History
1932-ben a Salzmann and Co. svájci cég Budapesten a XIII. ker., Klapka u. 11. sz. alatt rendezte be első üzemét Magyarországon. 1938-ban épült fel a váci üzem, amely a fonalgyártás teljes vertikumát felölelte. A telket a város adta térítés nélkül. Az államosítás után a Finompamutfonó és Cérnázógyár (FICE) váci gyárába telepítették a budapesti üzemet is. 1963-ban a gyárat a Pamutfonóipari Vállalathoz csatolták. A Pamutfonóipari Vállalat 1989-ben jogutód nélkül megszűnt, a váci gyárat a Mestermunka Kft (Masterpiece Ltd.) vette át.
