- június 30-án a győri Magyar Vagon- és Gépgyár tervpályázatot hirdetett a győri ifjúsági ház (PSVMK) felépítéséhez. 1970 őszén megkezdődött a kivitelezés és 1971. január 25-én Gede Jenőné, a KISZ Győr városi Bizottságának első titkára helyezte el az intézmény alapkövébe az “időkapszulát”, mely tartalmazta a makett fényképét, a tervrajzokat, különböző címletű pénzeket és az aznapi sajtótermékeket. A házat 2016 március elejére lebontották.
