Erdész Gyuláné Óvári Gizella 1948-ban szerezte oklevelét a budapesti Szent Lujza Óvónőképző Intézetben. 1960-tól a Móra Ferenc Óvoda, majd 1973-tól az V. számú Óvoda vezetője volt. Életre keltette a Nyugdíjas Pedagógus Klubot.
